Transition in Place Monthly News Veterans Newsletter Presents: Hello Spring

Greetings and salutations to everyone, a special hello to all our new Transition in Place family members, we welcome you all into the program with open arms.

I’m sure you all have had a thorough and completed course of orientation. It is imperative that you all establish a good rapport and ensure you have a strong line of communication with your assigned case manager.

During this difficult time please remember to:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after being in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer.

  • If you choose to wear gloves, change them as often as possible, as germs can be transferable from different surfaces.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Clean and disinfect household surfaces daily and frequently throughout the day. High-touch surfaces include phones, remote controls, counters, tabletops, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, toilets, and bedside tables.

  • Spray packages as they are received in the mail.

  • Check on your loved ones as often as you can.

  • You all are not in this alone, this is a difficult time for everyone. We are supporting and rooting for each other.
